Welcome to My Trip Crafter (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and applications (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for safeguarding your login credentials.
• If you sign in with Google, you authorize us to access basic profile data consistent with our Privacy Policy.

2) Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds

• Payments are processed by Stripe or other listed processors. By purchasing, you authorize recurring charges if applicable.
• Pricing, plan limits (e.g., number of Trip Books), and features are described at checkout or in-app and may change prospectively.
• Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. If something goes wrong, contact support@mytripcrafter.com.
• You may cancel future renewals at any time via your account or by contacting support. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

3) License & Acceptable Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse rate limits or access controls.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or for unlawful, infringing, or harmful activities.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

4) Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., trip inputs, notes). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display it solely to provide and improve the Service.
• You represent you have the rights to submit your content and that it does not violate others’ rights or laws.

5) Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate third-party services (e.g., Google Sign-In, Mapbox, Stripe). Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party acts or omissions.

6) AI-Generated Outputs & Guidance

Itineraries and recommendations may be partially AI-generated and can contain errors. Outputs are for informational purposes only. You are responsible for verifying routing, availability, safety, and costs before travel.

7) Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, designs, text, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted.

8) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid in the 3 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

10) Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or cause harm. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do so (e.g., IP, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification).

12) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13) Governing Law; Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Venue and jurisdiction lie in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
